We are the Women of the Swift Flowing River Cultural Network Inc., an Indigenous women's provincial volunteer organization.. ​

We are Indigenous women, girls, and gender-diverse people from Saskatchewan, representing First Nations both on and off reserve, including Status and Non-Status individuals, disenfranchised groups, Métis, and Inuit.

Our Vision

We aim to provide culturally-sensitive support and direct service delivery by raising awareness, advocacy, mentoring, networking, outreach and education for Indigenous and gender diverse women and their families.

Women of the Swift Flowing River is dedicated to enhancing the lives of Indigenous women and their families, both today and for generations to come.

Land Acknowledgment

Women of the Swift Flowing River acknowledge that our office is located on Treaty 6 territory, and we proudly serve Indigenous women, girls, and 2SLGBTQQIA+ people across Treaty territories 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 10, as well as the Homeland of the Métis in Saskatchewan.This land is home to the Cree, Dene, Nakota, Lakota, Dakota, Anishinabek, Saulteaux, and Métis peoples, whose history, language, and culture continue to shape our vibrant community. We honor and respect the First Nations and Métis ancestors of this land and reaffirm our commitment to our shared relationship.
